This site is built for people living with cognitive and sensory change.
Accessibility matters more than usual here, because many of our visitors are older adults, have vision or hearing loss, or are reading while exhausted.

Our commitment
We work toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. We review new pages and features against that standard and fix problems as we find them.
What we have done
- Large, high-contrast text with generous spacing and a plain reading style.
- Keyboard access for navigation, menus, forms, and the Care Navigator.
- Labels and descriptive text on form fields, buttons, and images.
- Reduced-motion support for visitors who prefer fewer animations.
- Meaning never carried by color alone.
Known limits
Some interactive tools — the assessments, the risk audit, and the projection chart — are complex, and parts of them may still be awkward with a screen reader. We are actively improving them. Content from third parties, such as embedded fonts or AI-generated responses, is not fully under our control.
Tell us about a barrier
If any part of this site is hard to use, email info@thememorymosaic.org and describe what happened and what you were trying to do. We respond within five business days, and we will give you the same information another way — by phone, email, or a printed copy — while we fix the problem.
